Large IV&V engagements, dedicated testing centres, testing centre of excellences, strategic testing centres have become a common theme for large deal in IV&V service offerings. In such IV&V/QA global engagements the IV&V team has to interact with multiple vendors in the AM/AD infrastructure, space along with the client user team, program management and test management teams. Collaboration across vendors is the biggest critical success factors for the complete engagement. If we can quantify collaboration and define a model to achieve higher collaboration with visibility across the vendors the success results would be phenomenal. The paper is an attempt to showcase the need of collaboration and highlight a predictive quantitative collaboration model. The predictability is derived from an empowered Test Management Office (TMO) and risk mitigation from the client side. An indicative TMO would be discussed. |
