IT services management has reached a level of maturity with several tools and solutions available in the market. However the delivery of IT services to enterprise users calls for an integration of the organisation business structures and objectives into the IT services delivery engine. Such integration would mutually benefit both the IT services implementaion / automation and the business expectations from this function. This calls for an effective integration of the IT services solution with the business systems of the enterprise - like HR, identities and roles systems,  costing and accounting systems, project management system, and the information portal for role based information delivery. The issues cover business processes integration, technology integration, and integration of user interface.
