Project Management is the most talked about topic in the present times. It is the most important skill that is missing in most project Managers of today. Most of the Project Managers today have become project Managers because of their seniority or otherwise and possess no formal, structured knowledge about Project Management. PMI has realised this and is doing an excellent job in developing good, effective, knowledgeable Project Managers. The PMP certification is a stepping-stone to become an effective Project Manager. This tutorial gives an introduction to the certification procedure, the suggested materials, each of the topics, and the actual exam. The participants after the introduction will go through real examination and assess themselves. The tutorial also discusses some tips and techniques for the preparation for the PMP Examination.

Presently working as AGM in Computer Services Department of Saud Bahwan Group at Muscat, Oman. Previously worked with TCS and CMC at various levels, in India and abroad. Worked in Australia for 8 years with large Customers like Australia Post and Unisys. Involved in design, development, review and consultancy of large projects both in India and Abroad. Worked as Consultant with QAI India for 2 years. Instrumental in putting the Project Management culture in the present organization. Obtained Post Graduate degree from IIT, Bombay in Computer Science.
