completed are guided by both the strategic
goals of the organisation and available
resources. The tutorial starts with a comprehensive,
high level overview of Project Portfolio
Management and the organisational issues
that warrant a disciplined approach to value
measurement of programs & projects.
It also addresses the approaches to institutionalising
Project Portfolio Management in the organisation,
and some of the best practices for the same.
Further discussion addresses some of the
broader issues and recent developments in
Project Portfolio Management, especially
in the context of the IT industry.

Rajwardhan
has over 15 years of work experience in
IT Infrastructure Management, design and
planning. Before joining CSC in Nov. 2003,
he has worked with companies like Infosys
Technologies, IBM and CMC. At CSC, Rajwardhan
is a Project Manager in the Global Infrastructure
Services (GIS) division as well as a core
member of the CSC Project Control Center
of Excellence.
Rajwardhan is a PMP certified Project Manager
with additional ITIL certification on Infrastructure
Management. He holds an Engineering degree
in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
He is a member of the Project Management
Institute (PMI), USA and the Institution
of Engineers (India).
Rajwardhan has extensive experience of implementing
and managing large and complex IT Infrastructure
with multiple technologies/OS both in De-centralised
as well as Centralised Data Centre architecture.
His other technical skills include IBM Tivoli
enterprise management toolset. |
