The endeavor of the forthcoming 2nd Annual International Software Estimation Colloquium is to bring thought leadership in Software Estimation on a common platform, and to build strong basis for pragmatic estimation and project control mechanisms for the current day software projects.

QAI invites submissions for the Colloquium for Best Paper/ Practice/ Tutorial.

We believe that the colloquium will be a unique forum for exchanging, learning, benchmarking, accelerating implementation of best practices and frameworks in the domain of Software Estimation.

QAI's Software Estimation Colloquium has been conceptualized to bring together practitioners and thought leaders from the Software Industry, Academia and Government for sharing and exchange of experiences, ideas and learning.

The Colloquium's real world approach delivers the latest state of the art and state of the practice in software estimation and methodologies, strategies and models being used by leading software organizations. The event will have one day colloquium, vendor presentations, experience sharing and networking opportunities.

Please note that the paper submitted in this colloquium should be original and not presented before. Please support your submission with required data and examples.
 
 
PAPERS: Forty minutes including the Question & Answer session
It includes case studies, industry experiences, technology, concepts etc. You will also have the opportunity to present the
results of Applied Techniques in your organization. Inclusion of practical tools (forms, checklists, procedures etc.) & empirical data (metrics) would be preferred.

Please submit a summary of your presentation along with the author intent form & biography, to the Conference Manager, QAI India Limited.
 
Key Dates for Submission
May 10 , 2007: Submission of Author Biography and Paper Abstract. Please specify the category under which you will submit the paper- Best Paper and Best Practice.
May 14, 2007: Submission of final paper, Paper Presentation Submission Form, and Copyright release form signed by the respective authors.
May 25, 2007: Accepted authors notified
July 10, 2007: Send final presentation visuals file & A-V Request form
July 20, 2007: Send Travel Itinerary
