Bharat Shah is currently leading the Center of Excellence for Integration and Test at Lockheed Martin Mission Systems (LM-MS), Maryland, USA, where he is responsible for incorporating and implementing test methodologies and test improvement models, including automated testing tools, throughout the organization. Before joining LM-MS, Mr. Shah has worked as a test manager and test consultant in a wide variety of projects and has implemented structured testing and test process improvements activities in many government and commercial programs. Mr. Shah presented "TMM Framework for Internet Applications" at the SEPG-Asia 2003 conference in Singapore and "Systems Engineering Framework for developing and testing E-Commerce applications" at the INCOSE conference and local chapters. Mr. Shah has received his Bachelor
of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute
of Technology, Kharagpur, India, and a Master of Science degree in Electronic
Commerce from the University of Maryland, USA.
In this presentation, we will look at the prevailing conditions in this field and the performance-testing framework developed and used by AppLabs Technologies, a leading QA service provider. Gautam manages the Java development group at AppLabs. His responsibility includes the successful execution of all offshore projects based on the Java platform. Gautam has over 8 years of experience in product development. Prior to AppLabs, Gautam ran the development for LearningByte International, which later became DigitalThink. In this capacity, Gautam was responsible for the end-to-end development of software products that were deployed and used by many of the largest organizations in the world. Before his 4 years at DigitalThink, Gautam spent 3 years at Tata Consultancy Services, a CMM Level 5 company. Gautam has a BTech from IIT Kharagpur in Energy Engineering (Department of Electrical Engineering).
