The tutorial will discuss
fundamentals of Exploratory Testing, existing formalized methods,
improvements to existing methods (steps, checklists, bug cycle
management, metrices), applying the orthogonal arrays, state-transition
diagrams, decision tables etc. It will also discuss the team management
issues and using these in corporate world to increase productivity.
The tutorial is aimed at test
engineers, quality analysts, test leaders, test managers and also
for testers who are new to the exploratory testing. The tutorial
brings awareness on this topic and helps them use the approaches
mentioned in their testing job. The experienced testers and test
managers can implement the new approaches that have been laid
down and evaluate the same in their ongoing projects.
Narendra
is currently working in Satyam Computer Services Ltd., a SEI-CMM
level 5 company, which occupies a significant position in top
ten IT companies in India. He has worked extensively on Functional
Testing, GUI Testing, System Testing and Regression testing. He
has good experience in manual and automated testing using automated
tools.
Jayapradeep J is

ten IT companies in India. Currently he is with their Software
Testing Practice. He has good exposure to the different testing
methodologies and implementing the same in the projects.
