  Outsourced Testing in an Agile Environment
  
  Agile Software Development continues to gain wide popularity as startups and mature development organizations take advantage of its very real benefits. Yet some of the very principles of Agile Development seem to preclude the ability to successfully outsource testing in such a fast-paced and less-structured environment. This paper describes the steps that agile companies need to take to ensure a successful test outsourcing engagement and how vendors can better manage the process. The author draws upon real-world examples to support the recommendations and results presented in the paper.
  
  Sanjay Menon is Director of System Engineering at Disha Technologies, an outsourcing vendor with offices in Bellevue, WA and with test centers in Pune and other locations in India. Sanjay has over 14 years of experience with various development organizations. Previously he was Vice President of Engineering at Amiga, Inc where he managed a global engineering team. Prior to that, he was at Microsoft Corporation where he was a Manager in various groups.
