Attending the outstanding inaugural address by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of AndhraPradesh Shri Chandra Babu Naidu, keynote presentations Dr.Eric Smet from Avraham Goldratt Institute, Iraj Hirmanpour of SEI and many other speakers from leading organizations of the world. Some of the prominent speakers included Arun Maheshwari, Managing Director, CSC India, Mike Kress, Boeing, Prof. Sudhakar Deshmukh, Kellog Northwestern University, Dr.Susanta Misra, Head Motorola Development Centre, C.R.Nagraj, Satyam Computer Services, Dr.K.Subramaniam, Covansys Ltd.

The conference included a record number of paper presentations from the high maturity organizations. This year the response has been phenomenal with over 200 submissions for the Conference by users and adopters of SPI methods from Asia, evidence of the growing impact of process improvement methodologies like CMMI, CMM, Six Sigma, TSP/PSP and host of others in the global community of software engineers.

The winners of the Best of the Best Awards for the year 2003 were Oracle (Best Practice) and TCS (Best Paper). A panel of reviewers form the industry reviewed the papers. Steve Masters and Mark Paulk of Carnegie Mellon University headed the Review committee.

The Award Ceremony was followed by an excellent dance performance by Nriturutya. Theyenthralled the audience through their dance performance on various themes like Water, Yantra, and Krishna.
