QAI, SEISM conduct 4th
conference

Premier IT consultants QAI, along with
SEISM have organised a conference on "Process improvement"
for the fourth year in succession. According to an official release,
the SEPGSM conference in Asian Pacific 2002, felicitates Infosys and
Satyam for the best practice and Best Paper awards, respectively. The
Best-of-the-Best awards were presented to the authors /
representatives of the practitioners at the SEPGSM conference an
annual affair that brings together leaders to exchange wisdom on
software engineering excellence, the release said, “Software
Process Control has shown a clear growth. This case study refutes a
number of common misconceptions, while highlighting the fact that
successfully applying SPC techniques remains a nontrivial
exercise,” Mr Mark Paulk, SEISM, and the final judge of the awards
selection said. SEISM observes that India is a staging center for the
SPC for the entire Asia Pacific region.
