SEISM has taken cognizance that India
is a staging center for process for the entire Asian Pacific region,
including Japan. To move closer to SEISM's goal, namely, taking
Software Process Improvements (SPI) to new levels, a great deal of
sharing and cross-fertilization is required, wherein the mature
India companies have a significant role to play.
One
of the initiatives aimed at accomplishing the objective,
Best-of-the-Best awards takes into account the very best practices
including software process excellence and innovation. A jury, which
includes luminaries from the Indian software industry and academia,
short-lists the papers capturing these practices. Finally the SEISM
selects two winners in the category of "Best Paper" and
"Best Practices."
