QAI Lead Assessor Mr. Managuli Gururaj speaks at SEPGSM Korea
Mr.
Managuli Gururaj, a Lead Assessor at QAI, was one of the
speakers at the SEPGSM Korea 2002 (Software Engineering Process
Group Conference). The conference was held in the capital of
Korea, Seoul on the 20th & 21st June
2002. Gururaj addressed the software professionals on
the topic of Software Metrics during one of the
parallel tracks. Alongside, QAI was represented at the
SEPGSM as a booth presence at the venue during the 2-day event.
SEPGSM
Korea 2002, similar to SEPGSM Korea 2001 was organized by
Systems Integration Technology Research Institute (SITRI). The System Integration Technology Research
Institute (SITRI) was established in September 2000 as a
non-profit organization functions under the auspices of the
Ministry of Information and Communication. One of the thrust
area of the Institute is disseminating CMM® (Capability
Maturity Model) ideas in the Korean business community. SITRI
held the Korea SEPGSM Conference to understand the situation of
Korean S/W Process capacity, to enlarge the S/W Process
knowledge and to improve the S/W Process ability by sharing
the experience of applying S/W Process.
Gururaj
also gave a talk at a symposium jointly arranged by QAI
and PM Soft Korea on "First Look at CMMI®SM
". CMMI®SM
is a capability maturity model, which not only deals with
software engineering but systems engineering also.
