What is eProcRev?

QAI’s eProcRev service is an online systematic process for performing document review of an organization’s standard processes, Quality Management System (QMS) components, against world’s most popular process improvement model, SEI’s CMMI®. It provides an insight into the compliance of the organization’s standard processes against the CMMI® requirements.

How does eProcRev help?

The first step in any process improvement journey is to identify the documentation and implementation gaps between the organization’s way of working and the expectations of the process improvement models/ standards like CMMI®, ISO etc. This step is followed by action planning which will detail the actions to be taken to close the identified gaps.

The next major task in the process improvement journey is process definition. The process definition phase helps to develop solutions to improve the existing processes, achieve business objectives and close the documentation gaps.

Most of the organizations have the capability to define the processes on their own but they generally lack confidence to ensure that all the CMMI® requirements have been addressed in the processes. This is the reason they seek expert advise in the form of document review.

QAI’s eProcRev service is a tool organizations use to get expert advise of world's largest consulting company to review the documents for them and identify the compliance to CMMI® requirements. This tool also provides additional inputs in terms of other industry best practices.

How does eProcRev work?

Client makes the payment, contract is established between the client and QAI, Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed

Client uploads the organization profile

Client sends the processes to be reviewed to QAI

QAI consultant conducts the document review and provides a review report to the client

A query resolution session of four hours is held after 2 to 3 days of submission of the review report to discuss any client queries

Steps of eProcRev Execution
Client fills the online request form. QAI initiates the contract and NDA formalities. Client is appraised of the future steps.
Client SPOC uploads the process documents to be reviewed along with any other supporting details required.
QAI consultant reviews the documents against the SEI CMMI requirements and checks for completeness, correctness and accuracy of the documents and prepares a detailed report highlighting the strengths and weaknesses in the documentation. The report is submitted to the SPOC.
QAI consultant conducts a query resolution session with the client to resolve any queries/ issues relating to the report. After this discussion, the client team can easily work on the resolution of the problems highlighted in the report.
