| What is ePIC? |
QAI’s ePIC service gives organizations quick and easy access to expert consulting advise on Operational Excellence based on SEI’s CMMI® Ver 1.2 model. QAI's highly qualified and experienced Lead Appraisers (LA) and Senior Consultants offer this consulting service.

The ePIC service leverages QAI’s international consulting experience and expertise built over a decade and a half.

| How does ePIC work? |
The ePIC service is available in three modes: asynchronous, synchronous, and a combination of the asynchronous and synchronous. Once the agreement has been established between QAI and the organization. Any authorized individual from the organization (Requester) can ask for QAI’s consulting advice using any of the 3 modes. |

Mode 1: Asynchronous |

QAI’s LA/Lead Appraiser Consultant studies the request |
|
|
LA/ Consultant gives the requester an in-depth email reply; wherever feasible and required the response would be accompanied by sample artifacts like diagrams, templates, checklists, guidelines etc

|
|
Note: During the email session maximum upto two rounds of mails sent to and fro to obtain clarifications or further details on the question raised are allowed in the agreed cost. Any mails over and above would be charged extra. |

Mode 2: Synchronous |

|
|
|

|
Based on the request, the ePIC service desk assigns a QAI’s LA/ Lead Appraiser Consultant for the Requester and communicates the details of the session (date, time, mode and any other relevant details) to the Requester
|
|
|
Note: There might be few to and fro mails between the client Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and the QAI coordinator to decide the mutually convenient date and time for the session. |

|
|
|
|
Online query resolution session is held via the chosen/ agreed mode i.e. chat/ phone/ Webinar at the agreed date and time.

LA/Lead Appraiser Consultant gives the requester an in-depth email reply; wherever feasible and required the response would be accompanied by sample artifacts like diagrams, templates, checklists, guidelines etc

Note: During the email session maximum upto two rounds of mails sent to and fro to obtain clarifications or further details on the question raised are allowed in the agreed cost any mails over and above would be charged extra. |

|
The email response is followed by a 30 min chat session between the Requester and the LA/Lead Appraiser consultant to help resolve any queries that the Requester might have regarding the response. The chat session must happen within 2 – 3 working days from the day the response is received by the client.
